There can be both advantages and disadvantages in having the workplace governed by a legally enforceable contract supported by rights arbitration.

Advantages of having alternative dispute resolution in the workplace include the ability to reach an agreement without having to go through the court. A third party will make the decision based on the evidence and facts that they are presented with in a matter. Arbitrators are not required to have to comply with legislation in regards to the field of the dispute. An arbitrator is not a judge or attorney.

A disadvantage of having alternative dispute resolution in the workplace is that many workplaces do not have unions in place and thus do not even utilize these dispute resolutions in order to come to an agreement. Because arbitration is not a decision reached in the court, there can be a question of whether the decided outcome is fair and just for both parties. Arbitration often has no set of standards, so this can make it difficult to find consistency. It is like a case by case basis on which decisions are made.

I do feel that this is a good model for the 21st century. I feel that a lot of issues in the workplace could be resolved through rights arbitration. Perhaps instead of having big lawsuits, more matters could be resolved quickly and more quietly but so that both parties are satisfied.

Nurses will not have to go sit down at the computer before visiting a patient and instead they can bring the cart to the room with the computer or the computer might be in the room already. One issue with the carts that might occur is clutter in the hallways. If nurses become busy and they are all lugging around carts with computers it might cause traffic and clutter the hallways.

Patient rooms will need extra room for the carts with computers on them. Some rooms will be able to accompany this but rooms that are shared with two patients or more might have an issue fitting multiple carts with computers. One way they can overcome this is by sharing the one computer cart with multiple patients.

When carts aren’t being used the hospital will have to make sure they room to store the carts. Taking rid of desk space and using that unused space for carts would be a great idea to overcome this issue.

One last overall hospital layout innovation will have to be elevators. If a nurse has to travel to another level for a patient with a cart the elevators must be large enough to fit multiple nurses with carts and computers.

I think is beneficial to utilize the social media personalities, becuase that will help influence the consumer and allow Kohl’s to break out of that typical discount store perception.

According to Fashion Unitied UK (2021) Fashion Nova’s secret to success is their branding, using social media infuencers that model the Fashion Nova clothes. Generally, I know my style, but sometimes you’re just not sure where to start, so even by looking at this outfit bar, it will show you some clothing combinations that you can draw ideas from and create your own, or you can buy based off of their creations. It’s a very versatile tool I feel.

If I had to give recommendations to management about rolling this out into its stores, I would give them the advice to roll it out in a few stores at first and those stores should be in larger markets. What this will allow for is the study of how this new product will be received amongst the consumers and what this will do is allow for them to catch any costly mistakes upfront before rolling it out into their many stores across the U.S which could be detrimental (Linton, 2020).
