I’m working on a philosophy writing question and need a sample draft to help me understand better.
READ from Immanuel Kant, Grounding for the Metaphysics of Morals, Third Edition, trans. James Ellington, Hackett Publishing, 1993.
- Optional: Preface, (pp. 1-5, Ak 387-392)
- Required: First Section (pp. 7-17, Ak 393-405)
Respond to these questions:
1- What term, set of terms, or short passage would you like explained? Be sure to include page numbers! Makes is much easier for me to find.
2- “A good will is not good because of what it effects or accomplishes” (p. 7, Ak 394). Comment!
3- Give at least one reason Kant thinks “happiness” is not the proper aim of morality.
